Imagine & Dream - Disney World.

Over Thanksgiving, I was lucky enough to take my kids to Disney World for the first time.   It was crowded.  Because of the fast pass system, we were able to ride at least three choice rides at each park; otherwise, ride lines were just too long.  Luckily, my kids didn't seem to mind.  I told them we came to Disney for the "experience" not the rides.

For me, the Disney experience is the encouragement to wish, dream, and imagine and an example of the results of someone's wishes, dreams, and imagination.   For example in Spaceship Earth at Epcot, visitors explore mankind's technological advances over the centuries. Visitors journey back in time to witness the origins of prehistoric man, breakthroughs in communication from the alphabet, printing press, telecommunication, computers, and the internet.  At the end of the
ride, visitors are encouraged to become imagineers and are encouraged to design their own future world.  The Carousel of Progress in The Magic Kingdom is another experience where you see how people's dreams and creations came to life.  The carousel is steeped in nostalgia and futurism and inspires visitors to dream about what they might create as they travel back in time to explore the joys of living through the creation of electricity, air conditioning, radio, to video games.

Of course, my favorite Disney experience is the 9pm fireworks show.  It is about listening to your conscience, your wishes, and not being afraid to dream.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRIzFNeEMqs  "The most magical and fantastic things can happen and it all starts with a wish."

I left Disney knowing I still wish and dream.

What are your wish and dreams?  What can you do and how can you work with others to make your dreams come true?
